About us

Mobile Medical Diagnostics is a CQC registered, mobile, community-based X-ray service delivering on-site X-ray image acquisition for appropriate patients in the community (e.g., place of residence / care settings), supported by clinical reporting by a consultant radiologist.

Our pay per use, fully managed service is built to support out-of-hospital pathways that help avoid unnecessary ambulance conveyance, emergency department attendance, and hospital admission, particularly for falls and other frailty-type presentations, where clinically appropriate.

We have extensive experience, having undertaken over 40,000 X-rays in various community settings over the last 3+ years across multiple contracts.

Our data consistently shows that 95% of the patients we x-ray do not need an emergency ambulance transfer. The service is delivered under robust clinical governance, including radiation safety / IR(ME)R compliance, equipment QA, and appropriate vetting, authorisation and training controls.
